El Nido: Transportation Guide

The town of El Nido in Northern Palawan can be accessed by buses and vans at an estimated travel time of six hours from Puerto Princesa City. They are stationed at San Jose Terminal which is approximately five kilometers away from the city proper.

RORO Bus

RORO Bus has the most number of trips among the transport services traversing the Puerto Princesa – El Nido route. Seat reservation is advisable for air-conditioned buses, while first-come, first-served policy applies to ordinary buses as per the dispatcher at San Jose Terminal.

Lexus Shuttle Service

The shuttle van of Lexus can only accommodate a limited number of passengers. Seat reservation is strongly recommended. The van leaves on schedule even if the seats are not fully occupied.

Eulen Joy Bus and Shuttle Express

Eulen Joy offers both bus and shuttle van services. Unlike RORO Bus, it has only non air-conditioned buses. Also, there are no late afternoon schedules.

  • Stopovers of the abovementioned vehicles are usually at Roxas and Taytay
  • The road between Taytay and El Nido is not yet completely paved and is still dusty.

    This is very helphful. Great job !

    But i still have one question, from Roxas to Puerto Princesa. I planned to stay at the Modessa Island for 1 or 2 nights and would like to come back the same day of my flight which is at 11.55am at Puerto Princesa.
    Departure from the Island is at 8am so i should be at the Roxas bus station around 9am.
    So will be there any buses or vans around 9am to take ? I guess that should be the 5.30am Lexus shuttle van from El Nido right ?
    If you have a complete schedule from Roxas to Puerto Princesa, it would be great.
